Streng, a co-administrative partner of the firm, said: “Our firm was pleased to provide a forum for Senator Lieberman to answer questions and explain his views on domestic and international policies.” According to another partner of the firm, Kathleen Donelli, one such view of the Senator was how the Bush tax cuts would negatively impact on everyone except the very wealthy. Mr. Streng recalls the Senator’s statement that, as a result of the tax cuts, there would be massive budget deficits that both harm the economy and compromise the government’s ability to spend monies on important programs, such as homeland security matters.
