Joe is a member of the firm's Appellate Practice, Business Litigation, Legal Malpractice and
Surrogate's Court Litigation groups and chairs the firm's Medical
Malpractice and Personal Injury and Legal Malpractice groups.
Joe is best known as one of the leading plaintiff's medical
malpractice litigators based in the Hudson Valley. As indicated by his representative cases, Joe has had numerous successful lawsuits involving different types of doctor or hospital errors, including misdiagnosis or delayed treatment of cancer, drug and medication errors, surgical and anesthesia complications, emergency medicine treatment, birth injuries and wrongful death cases. Joe has also obtained large recoveries
for victims of construction accidents and auto accidents.
Joe offers expert support to individuals gravely injured,
and the families of those who have died, as a result of negligence
and medical malpractice. Joe's experiences also include notable
cases in the areas of Legal Malpractice, Business Litigation and defamation.
Joe is one of the few Board
Certified Civil Trial Advocates in the State of New York.
He has also been recognized twice as a New York Super Lawyer in the area of Medical Malpractice.
His trial experience, with scores of jury verdicts to his
credit, gives him credibility in settlement negotiations,
mediations, and arbitrations. Cases that are successfully
resolved often generate very significant recoveries. Joe’s
work on such cases is not concluded until individualized plans
for investment and protection of the clients’ funds
are finalized. The firm’s strengths in the areas of Trusts
and Estates, elder law and Taxation
offer an added dimension of service to clients who need to
manage large personal injury and wrongful death recoveries. |
