Professional Profile

Dina M. Aversano is a member of the firm's Appellate Practice, Business Litigation and Surrogate’s Court Litigation groups. Dina is involved in all aspects of litigation, including trials and appeals. She is involved in the prosecution and defense of a wide variety of cases, including breach of contract commercial matters.  In litigation on trusts and estate matters, she has large experience in dealing with claims brought on behalf of or by estate fiduciaries or beneficiaries. Proficient in managing all phases of discovery and trial preparation, Dina has worked with firm partners in obtaining favorable decisions by way of motion practice and bench trials.

While in law school at Pace University School of Law, Dina served as a summer clerk to the Hon. Robert A. Spolzino, a former Justice of the Appellate Division, Second Department. During her third year of law school, she acted as a student attorney at Pace’s Securities Arbitration Clinic (now called the Investor Rights Clinic), representing investors in securities arbitration disputes with broker-dealers.

Dina has also been recognized as a New York Super Lawyer in the areas of Estate & Trust Litigation, Business Litigation and Appellate.
