| Paul brings more than 50 years of experience in counseling,
acting and litigating on behalf of substantial domestic and
international clients in connection with complex contract,
commercial, real estate, wills, trusts, estates and off shore
corporate activities and transactions. Litigation, arbitration
and mediation have been an important element of Paul’s
value to his clients. During that time Paul has represented
many important Brazilian public and private entities in major
contract, commercial and litigated matters.
Paul has been particularly active in complex litigation relating
to issues of sovereign immunity and admiralty law. Paul is
also very active in the Brazilian community in New York, and
is a long-time member of the Brazilian
American Chamber of Commerce, where he serves as a Director,
a Member of its Executive Committee and Chair of its Legal
Committee. Paul also has significant experience with high
net worth foreign individuals and their companies in dealings
with the United States, real estate investments and related
tax and estate planning vehicles. |
