This prestigious decoration, which was awarded to Paul by the President of the Republic of Brazil, recognizes Paul's commitment and dedication to Brazil, Brazilian companies and to the Consulate General of Brazil in New York. At the ceremony, Ambassador Osmar Chohfi, the Consul General, had this to say about Paul: "His advice, always precise and balanced, has guided us through diverse and complex legal spheres and helped us to consolidate our mission: to provide support to the Brazilian community residing here while strengthening the good relations between Brazil and the United States."
